What your display is telling you
The CO-DRIVER NO3 has no LED lights — everything it needs to tell you appears right on its display. Here's what each screen means and how to respond.
Getting around the display
The display isn't just a screen — the whole display is also a button. Together with the top button, that's all you need to control your CO-DRIVER NO3.
Press the display
Press on the side where an option is shown — left, right, up or down — to select it.
Switch menus
Short press the top button to cycle between warnings and services like Mileage Book or Fuelling.
Turn on or off
Hold the top button for about 3–5 seconds to turn the device on or off.
Screen off
After 15 seconds the screen turns off to save battery — the device keeps running. A warning or tap wakes it.
Start-up and connection screens
When you turn on your CO-DRIVER NO3, the display shows the OOONO logo first. After that, it tells you whether it's connected to your phone.
Ready to pair
Not connected to a phone yet — set it up in the OOONO app.
Connected
Your CO-DRIVER NO3 is connected and ready to warn you.
Connecting…
It can't reach your phone. Check that Bluetooth is on.
Pairing a new phone
If your CO-DRIVER NO3 hasn't been able to connect for a while, the display also shows "Pair new phone? Press top button". Press the top button to switch to Ready to pair, then connect your new phone in the OOONO app.
Warning screens
Every warning shows its type and how far away it is. The colour tells you the category at a glance: blue for speed cameras and orange for road hazards.
Speed camera
Camera icon, the speed limit and the distance.
Road hazard
Hazard icon and the distance.
Speed limit (BETA)
Speed limit and current speed.
How the distance counts down
The warning starts at a distance that depends on the speed limit — up to 1,000 m on faster roads, and often 500 m or less in town. As you get closer, the distance counts down:
| Distance to the warning | What the display shows |
|---|---|
| 1,000 m to 300 m | Counts down in 100 m steps |
| 300 m to 100 m | Counts down in 50 m steps |
| Under 100 m | "Close by" |
Distances and speeds follow your phone's settings — metres and km/h, or feet and mph if your phone uses imperial units.
Speed limit warnings (BETA)
The speed limit appears at the top of the screen, with your current speed in the centre. If you go over the limit, "Slow down" appears underneath. You can turn speed limit warnings on or off and set your own buffer in the app. How do I customise warning settings in the app?
Reporting, confirming and dismissing
You respond to warnings right on the display — no need to reach for your phone.
Report a warning
Report
Left for a road hazard, right for a speed camera.
Report?
Your report is sent automatically after 5 seconds.
Thanks!
The speed camera has been reported.
Spot something that isn't on the map yet? Press the side of the display that shows Road Hazard or Speed Camera.
After you press Road Hazard or Speed Camera, the display asks "Report?" and counts down from 5 seconds. You don't need to do anything else — when the countdown reaches zero, your report is sent automatically. That way you can keep your eyes on the road.
The countdown is only there in case you pressed by mistake: press right ✕ before it ends to cancel the report.
The display thanks you once your report has been sent — and drivers behind you get the warning too.
Confirm or dismiss a warning

Left ✓ confirms, right ✕ dismisses.

Thanks!
The road hazard has been confirmed.
- Confirm: still there? Press left ✓ so drivers behind you keep getting the warning.
- Dismiss: no longer there? Press right ✕ to help keep the map up to date.
The confirm and dismiss options appear once you're close to the warning, so they only show up when they're relevant.
When the connection is lost
If your CO-DRIVER NO3 loses its connection to your phone - or can't connect in the first place, for example because Bluetooth is switched off on your phone - a red Bluetooth icon appears at the top of the display.
Not connected
The red Bluetooth icon means there's no connection to your phone.
Is Bluetooth enabled on your phone?
Appears when you press the display while it's not connected.
- Connection back: as soon as Bluetooth is on again and your phone is in range, your CO-DRIVER NO3 reconnects automatically - you don't need to do anything.
- Pressed the display? If you press the display while it's not connected, it asks "Is Bluetooth enabled on your phone?" and keeps trying to connect (Connecting…).
- Pair a new phone: press NEW PHONE at the bottom of the display to pair your CO-DRIVER NO3 with a different phone, then connect it in the OOONO app.
Services: Mileage Book and Fuelling
The CO-DRIVER NO3 is the first CO-DRIVER that does more than "just" warn you about traffic - and your services are only one press away.
Mileage Book
Once your CO-DRIVER NO3 is connected, your trips are logged automatically — and you can categorise each trip right on the display.
From "Not logging" to "Logging trip"
Start a trip, pick Private, Commute or Business and confirm with ✓ — your trip is logged in that category.
- Start logging: if the display shows Not logging, press left START.
-
Change the category: press down
CHANGE CATEGORY, then press up or down to choose:
- Private
- Commute
- Business
- Stop logging: press right STOP.
- Back to warnings: press the top button to cycle back. Your trip keeps logging in the category you chose.
