Your warnings, your way

Adjust the volume, choose which alerts you receive, and decide whether sound comes from your CO-DRIVER, phone, or both — all from the app.

Important The app interface may look different depending on your app version. For the best experience, make sure you're using app version 5.2.0 or newer. Not sure how to update? Find step-by-step instructions here.

Getting started

How to access Device Settings

Start here to find and update all your CO-DRIVER settings:

    Open the OOONO app on your phone.

    Tap the (=) icon on the right.

  3. 3

    Select Device Settings.

  4. 4

    Make sure your CO-DRIVER is connected — some settings only appear when the device is connected.

    Keep in mind: every CO-DRIVER has its own settings, so changes apply only to the specific device you're adjusting.

    In Device Settings, choose between two tabs: General Settings and Traffic Alarms. If you have a CO-DRIVER NO3, you'll also see a third tab: Fuelling.

Warning distance The warning distance cannot be adjusted manually — it is automatically calculated based on the applicable speed limit. The higher the permitted speed, the earlier you'll receive a warning. Learn more about how warnings work.

General Settings

Use these settings to manage the basic functions of your device — like connection notifications, the green status blink, and warning volume.

    Battery Status: Shows your device's battery level in % (only visible when connected).
  • ✓
    Connectivity Notification: Choose whether you want a pop-up when your device connects to your phone (available on iOS only).
  • ✓
    Green Status Blink: Your device blinks green every 5 seconds when connected. You can turn this on or off. This setting is only available for the CO-DRIVER NO1 and NO2 — the CO-DRIVER NO3 has no LED lights and shows its connection status on the display instead.

1.1 Sounds

Decide where the warning sound comes from — your CO-DRIVER and/or your phone or car.

    Turn the warning sound from your CO-DRIVER on/off.
  • 2
    Tap Test Sound to check the volume.

When sound is ON, you can also:

    Adjust the volume by sliding the bar — choose from several levels.
  • ✓
    Turn Sound when connecting on/off.
  • ✓
    Turn Sound for warnings on/off.
  • ✓
    Turn the warning sound from your phone or car on/off.
  • ✓
    Tap Test Sound to check the volume from your phone or car speaker.
  • ✓
    Control the volume using your phone's volume buttons. If your phone is on silent mode, you won't hear any warning sounds.

Traffic Alarms

2.1 Types

Choose which types of alerts you want to receive while driving.

    Temporary Cameras (e.g. mobile cameras): on/off.
  • 2

    Fixed Cameras — turn all fixed types on/off at once, or customise individually:

    • ✓
      Fixed Speed Cameras: on/off.
    • ✓
      Section Control: on/off.
    • ✓
      Red Light Cameras: on/off.
  • ✓
    Turn Road Hazard Warnings on/off.
  • ✓
    Turn Speed Limit Warnings on/off.
  • ✓
    If enabled, set a custom buffer — in km/h or as a % over the limit.
CO-DRIVER NO1 users Speed limit warnings from the device are only available on the CO-DRIVER NO2 and NO3. If you have a CO-DRIVER NO1, you can only receive speed limit warnings from your phone or car.

2.2 Notifications

These are push notifications sent to your phone whenever you receive a warning.

    Turn Warning Notifications on/off.

Fuelling

The Fuelling tab only appears in Device Settings when you have a CO-DRIVER NO3 registered in the app. Here you decide how your CO-DRIVER NO3 searches for fuel - with a few taps on the display, it finds the best fuel price near you.

Germany only (so far) Fuelling is free of charge and currently only available in Germany. Learn more about OOONO Fuelling.

    Search distance: Choose how far around you your CO-DRIVER NO3 searches for fuel stations.
  • ✓
    Fuel type: Choose your fuel type, so you only see the prices that matter to you.
  • ✓
    Navigation: Choose which map opens when you start a search on your CO-DRIVER NO3: OOONO Map, Google Maps or Apple Maps.

Have a CO-DRIVER NO1 or NO2? You can still use Fuelling. The Fuelling tab is only for searches on the CO-DRIVER NO3. With a CO-DRIVER NO1 or NO2, you can find fuel prices directly on the OOONO Map: tap Petrol stations to see prices nearby, then choose your fuel type in the list.
