To set up your CO-DRIVER, you'll need the OOONO app version 5.0 or higher. It's free to use — no subscription or ongoing fees required.

Step 1

Download the OOONO app

Download the OOONO app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Need help? Check our article:

Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your phone.

Keep mobile data on The OOONO app needs an active internet connection to work. Your CO-DRIVER connects to your phone over Bluetooth, but the actual warnings rely on live data sent to and from OOONO's servers over the internet.

That means your phone needs mobile data (or Wi-Fi) switched on and available while you drive. Without a connection, the app can't receive up-to-date alerts about hazards, speed traps, and other reports ahead of you — and it can't send in the reports you make for other drivers either. So before you set off, make sure mobile data is enabled and you've got signal.

Step 2

Turn on your CO-DRIVER

The process is slightly different depending on which model you have.

CO-DRIVER NO1

Press and hold the button

Hold the button for 15–20 seconds. A short sound and green light will confirm the device is turned on.

CO-DRIVER NO2 & NO2 PLUS

Press and hold the top button

Hold the top button for 10-15 seconds. You'll see a green light and hear a sound once it's switched on.

Step 3

Complete app onboarding

Open the OOONO app and follow the instructions provided.

Sign up with your email address and continue.

Enter the validation code and follow the steps.

Enter the device you'd like to connect (or tap "I don't have a device yet") and select Connect via Bluetooth.

Android users: A Bluetooth pairing window will pop up — select OOONO or OOONO2, depending on which CO-DRIVER you have.

If you haven't yet set the required phone settings, the app will ask you to do so now.

Once the necessary settings are enabled, your CO-DRIVER will connect — quick, easy, and ready to roll!

Your CO-DRIVER will now connect automatically whenever you start driving, as long as Bluetooth is on.

Accounts

Can multiple users share one account?

We encourage all users to create their own account — it's free! If you're using the app on multiple devices, set up a separate account for each phone.

This keeps your settings personalised, prevents any mix-ups, and lets you fully customise your CO-DRIVER experience. If you sign in with the same email on a different phone, the previously logged-in device will automatically be signed out.
