How do I get warnings through the car speakers?

In addition to warning sound from your CO-DRIVER and/or the phone, you can also receive warnings through the speakers of your car.

To do so, ensure that the warning sound from your phone is enabled in the OOONO app. Need help? Have a look at: How do I change the warning settings in the OOONO app?

Once your phone is connected to the car, warnings will no longer come from the phone but through the car’s speaker instead. You can receive warnings through:

  1. Apple CarPlay or Android Auto
  2. Bluetooth
Important!

All infotainment systems are different. We cannot guarantee that it works the same way across all systems. If you are unsure about your car’s infotainment system, we recommend checking the manual of your car or media play.

 

Receiving warnings via Android Auto:

  1. Connect your smartphone to your car’s infotainment system using a cable or Bluetooth (depending on your car's capabilities).
  2. Switch to the Android Auto media source on your infotainment system.
  3. Ensure that warning sound on phone is enabled in the OOONO app.
Note! The CO-DRIVER NO1 does not support displaying the OOONO app via Android Auto, but you will still receive warning sounds.

 

Receiving warnings via Bluetooth:

  1. Connect your phone to your car via Bluetooth.
  2. Switch from the radio to the Bluetooth media source in your car.
  3. Ensure that warning sound on phone is enabled in the OOONO app.
Note! If you are listening to the radio, warnings will not be played over your car speakers. To receive warnings while listening to the radio, we recommend using a radio app on your phone instead.

Receiving warnings via CarPlay:

  1. Connect your smartphone to your car’s infotainment system using a cable or Bluetooth (depending on your car's capabilities).
  2. Switch to the CarPlay media source on your infotainment system.
  3. Ensure that warning sound on phone is enabled in the OOONO app.
Note! The CO-DRIVER NO1 does not support displaying the OOONO app via CarPlay, but you will still receive warning sounds.

 

Receiving warnings via Bluetooth:

  1. Connect your phone to your car via Bluetooth.
  2. Switch from the radio to the Bluetooth media source in your car.
  3. Ensure that warning sound on phone is enabled in the OOONO app.
  4. To receive warnings via Bluetooth, it is important that another audio source (e.g., music or a podcast app) is playing on your phone.
Note! If you are listening to the radio, warnings will not be played over your car speakers. To receive warnings while listening to the radio, we recommend using a radio app on your phone.
