How do I update my SIRÈNE?

Firmware Update

If a firmware update is available, you will see it in the app when you click on the three dots under My SIRÈNE. You can initiate the update right there.

We advise you to ensure that your SIRÈNE has sufficient battery capacity when initiating the update. If the update fails, it may be due to low battery capacity.

Software Update

We’re always working on making the SIRÈNE experience even better – and sometimes that means releasing new updates for the SIRÈNE App.

When a new software update is available for your SIRÈNE App, you will be informed in the SIRÈNE app. You will see a pop-up in the app that will take you to the SIRÈNE page in either the App Store or Google Play, where you simply need to tap "update".

Wondering if you need to update the app? Here's how to check:

 

1. Automatic Updates

iPhones usually handle updates on their own – if automatic updates are switched on:

Go to Settings → App Store → Automatic Updates, and make sure App Updates is enabled.

 

2. Manual Update Check

Want to be 100% sure you’re running the latest version?

  1. Search for SIRÈNE in the App Store or click this link on your phone: HERE
  2. If it says Update instead of Open, the update is ready for you!

 

3. Check the Current App Version

You can also check which version you’re currently using:

  1. Open the SIRÈNE app
  2. Tap on Profile in the bottom right
  3. Scroll to the bottom

  2. Tap your profile icon → Settings
  3. Go to Network preferences → Auto-update apps
  4. Choose your preferred setting:
  • Over any network
  • Over Wi-Fi
  • Don’t auto-update apps (if you want manual control)
