Managing your contacts in the SIRÈNE app is simple and flexible.
Whether you’re adding someone new, responding to an invitation, or adjusting your contact list — everything happens in one place. This guide will show you how to connect, manage, or remove contacts so you’re always in control of who gets notified when it matters most.
Where can I manage my contacts in the app?
All your contacts will be listed under Contacts.
When you receive or respond to contact invitations, the app updates your contacts automatically.
If someone you've invited hasn't accepted yet, you’ll see their profile in grey with the tag invitation sent.
To manage contacts, swipe their name to the left. This gives you the option to remove them — allowing you to keep your list up to date and under control.
How do I connect to a new contact?
To add a contact in the SIRÈNE app, you’ll need either your own or the other person’s personal 6-digit ID code, found under your profile in the app.
- Go to the My SIRÈNE or Contacts tab.
- Tap Add Contacts
- Enter the 6-digit ID code from the person you want to add.
- Tap Add Contact to confirm.
Alternatively, you can share your own code by tapping Invite Contacts. This opens your phone’s sharing options (like messages or email). Once your contact accepts the invitation, they’ll be added to your list and receive notifications if you trigger an alert.
If you receive an invitation, tap the check mark to accept or the cross to decline. Invitations appear directly in your contact list.
Under Contacts, you can view all your current contacts who will be alerted if you trigger an alert.
Please note that if you add someone that also owns a SIRÈNE as a contact, they will also automatically add you back as a contact. This means you will be alerted when they trigger an alert, and you can choose to help or ignore the alert.
Can I reject a contact invitation?
Yes. When someone sends you a contact request, you can accept or decline it directly in the Contacts section.
If you decline, you won’t be added as a contact and won’t receive alerts from that person — and they won’t get yours either.
How do I remove a contact?
To remove someone from your contacts:
- Open the app and go to Contacts.
- Swipe left on the contact you want to remove.
- Tap the dustbin icon to confirm.
Once removed, that person will no longer receive alerts if you trigger your SIRÈNE.
How many contacts can I add?
There’s no limit to how many contacts you can add in the app.
However, keep in mind that all your contacts will receive notifications when you activate your alert. That’s why it’s important to only add people you trust and who are ready to help in case of an emergency.
