If your P-DISC display stays blank after installation, don’t worry - in most cases, the device is working exactly as it should. Here’s how all our P-DISCs works and what to check if you’re unsure.
How the P-DISC works
- The P-DISC automatically detects movement and vibrations from your car. Once you park the car, it enters parking mode and shows the arrival time on the display.
- This usually happens within a few seconds. However, In some cases, it might take up to 2 minutes - depending on how strong the movement is.
- This display stays visible while you're parked, then turns off once the car is moving again — to save battery.
When the display turns off
- As soon as you start driving again, the P-DISC detects motion and exits parking mode - the display turns off.
- This usually happens within a few seconds. In some cases, it may take up to 2 minutes, depending on how strong the movement is.
- Short, low-vibration trips might not trigger the change right away.
Troubleshooting steps
- If your P-DISC doesn’t show anything, place the device on a smooth surface and gently swing it back and forth with two fingers for a few seconds. You should see the display react.
- If the display still shows nothing after a few minutes of no movement, try replacing the battery. Also make sure the battery is properly seated and hasn’t shifted during battery replacement.
- If none of the steps above work, feel free to contact our Support-Team HERE. We’ll help you get it sorted quickly.
