The CO-DRIVER is a community-driven device, which connects you to millions of drivers who report incidents on the road each and every day. This way, your CO-DRIVER always gives you up-to-date warnings wherever you go and helps you be one step ahead in traffic, knowing when a speed camera or road hazard is coming up.
Every warning you receive comes from someone who was just ahead of you. Whether it’s a speed camera or a road hazard, your CO-DRIVER gives you a heads-up so you can stay focused and avoid surprises.
And you’re part of that system too. With a quick tap, you can confirm or report what’s happening — helping the next driver behind you.
The OOONO CO-DRIVER comes with the OOONO app. The app is free to use, does not require a subscription, and can be downloaded from the App Store or on Google Play. You can use the OOONO app in English, German, Danish, Italian, French, or Spanish.

Let's get into it.
Reporting, Confirming & Dismissing Warnings
Your CO-DRIVER warns you when other drivers report something up ahead — like a speed camera or road hazard. If you spot the same thing, confirming it helps keep that warning active. If it’s new, reporting it helps others. And if it’s no longer there, you might be able to dismiss it (with CO-DRIVER NO2).
Speed Cameras
Here’s what to do when you see (or don’t see) a camera:
-
Warning: Camera ahead + you see it
- Press once to confirm -
No warning + you spot a camera
Press once to report it -
Warning: Camera ahead + nothing there
No action needed — it will expire if not confirmed (or Dismiss with a CO-DRIVER NO2).
Road Hazards
For things like debris, stalled cars or sudden obstacles:
-
Warning: Hazard ahead + it’s there
Press twice to confirm -
No warning + hazard spotted.
Press twice to report it -
Warning: Hazard ahead + nothing there.
No action needed — it will expire if not confirmed (or Dismiss with a CO-DRIVER NO2).

How does the connection work?
Once you’ve completed the setup in the OOONO app, your CO-DRIVER connects automatically — no need to tap, switch, or open anything before each drive.
As soon as you start driving, the device wakes up and connects to the nearest phone it’s paired with. This ensures a smooth, hands-off experience every time you get in the car.
If you prefer to connect before the car starts moving, open the OOONO app on your phone — this will manually trigger the connection. Or just give your CO-DRIVER a quick shake — that works too.
You’ll know it’s connected when the CO-DRIVER flashes green and gives a short confirmation sound.
You can find out here, whether your phone is compatible with the OOONO app.

What should I know about the battery of the CO-DRIVER?
Your CO-DRIVER is designed to work silently in the background — and that includes its battery. Whether you’re using the rechargeable CO-DRIVER NO2 or the long-life CO-DRIVER NO1, here’s what to know to keep things running smoothly.
CO-DRIVER NO2 & CO-DRIVER NO2 PLUS - rechargeable battery
Never running out of battery means never running out of warnings.
CO-DRIVER NO2 is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and supports USB-C charging, making it easy to keep charged — right from your car.
Battery Specs:
- Up to 1 month (with normal use)
- Full recharge in ~3 hours
- Smart Charging protects battery health, even with different chargers
- Charge with the included USB-C cable for the best performance
To keep the battery healthy, we recommend using the original cable and avoiding extreme temperatures during charging.
Charging behaviour
- When turned off, the device will remain silent and unlit while charging.
- When turned on, a green LED and short sound confirm that charging has started.
- To turn on the device: press and hold the top button for 10–15 seconds.
Important!
Battery life may vary depending on how often you drive, interact with the device, and the ambient temperature in your car.
CO-DRIVER NO1 - replaceable battery
CO-DRIVER NO1 uses a CR2450 3V lithium coin cell battery, designed for long-term use without charging.
Battery Specs:
- 10–12 months typical battery life (depending on use)

Below you’ll find the available mounting options for each version.
CO-DRIVER NO2 & CO-DRIVER NO2 PLUS
CO-DRIVER NO2 comes with discreet magnetic mounts, giving you a secure hold and flexible placement. The metal plates are backed with adhesive, so once you've found your spot, they stay put — while the device itself can be removed anytime.
CO-DRIVER NO1
This version uses simple adhesive strips to stay in place. You can mount it wherever it’s most comfortable for you — typically on your dashboard or center console.
