Your parking disc. On autopilot.
The P-DISC detects when you stop and sets the correct parking time — keeping you compliant without lifting a finger.
How does the P-DISC work?
The P-DISC is designed to detect when your vehicle stops and sets the parking time automatically, keeping you compliant with local parking rules in Germany or Denmark (depending on the version you purchased).
-
✓When you stop the car, the P-DISC enters parking mode
-
✓The device sets and displays the correct parking time
-
✓Once you start driving again, the P-DISC senses movement and exits parking mode
-
✓While driving, the display goes blank to save battery
Does the time keep running while parked?
No. As soon as your car stops, the P-DISC automatically detects it and sets the correct parking time. This time remains displayed until your car starts moving again.
What about parking overnight?
If you park in the evening, the P-DISC displays the actual parking time — even if that's the night before. That time stays on the display until you drive again. Even if a parking regulation only takes effect the next morning, the displayed time does not change automatically — and that's exactly how it should be.
You don't need to (and shouldn't) manually set the time to match the next morning's parking rules. What matters is that the P-DISC shows the actual time the vehicle was parked. Once the parking regulation begins, your allowed parking time starts from that moment — based on your P-DISC already being in place.
In other words: if you parked before the regulation takes effect, you're allowed to stay parked for the full allowed duration from the moment the regulation begins — no manual adjustment needed.
→ Can I ever set the time manually?
Only if something didn't go as expected. If your P-DISC doesn't show a time after parking (for example, after a very short drive), you can manually set the time using the arrow button — but only to the next allowed time interval. It's not permitted to set the time further ahead than allowed, as this could result in a fine.
→ Are the numbers on the P-DISC illuminated?
No — this is intentional and works the same way as a manual parking disc, which also relies on ambient light. In low-light conditions, the parking time is typically checked using available lighting (such as street lighting or a torch), just as with a traditional disc.
The P-DISC is fully legal and officially approved. You can find more details here.
Do I need to use an app?
No app needed. Once you've installed the OOONO P-DISC in your windscreen, you're ready to go. No smartphone connection required.
