OOONO Mileage BookDrive. We'll handle the rest.
A step-by-step guide to logging, categorizing, and exporting your trips in the OOONO app.
What is the Mileage Book?
The Mileage Book is a feature inside the OOONO app that helps you log, categorize, and export your trips — so you can hand them to your employer for mileage or travel expense reimbursement.
It works together with your CO-DRIVER. Once automatic logging is switched on and your CO-DRIVER is actively connected to the app, your trips are logged automatically as you drive — no extra hardware, no manual stopwatch, no remembering. Just keep in mind that your CO-DRIVER needs to be connected during the trip, as that's what makes the logging possible. You can also add trips by hand whenever you like, label each one, and export a clean report straight from the app.
The Mileage Book is a paid subscription feature, available as a monthly or annual plan. It is currently available only for German users.
What is it used for?
The Mileage Book is built for one main job: helping employees who drive their private car for work keep track of those trips and submit them to their employer for reimbursement. Every trip you log can be labeled so it's clear what kind of journey it was:
Private
Personal trips that aren't related to work. Logged for your own overview.
Commute
Your regular trips between home and your workplace.
Business
Work-related trips you want to submit to your employer for mileage or travel expenses.
How to use it
Find your trips
To open the Mileage Book, go to your profile by tapping your initials in the OOONO app, then select Mileage Book.
The first time you open it — before any trip has been logged — you'll see a welcome screen with an "Add trip" button. Since automatic logging is on by default, your first trip is recorded all on its own as soon as you set off with your CO-DRIVER. After that, the Mileage Book fills up with your trips, grouped by month and day, each showing its distance and time.
Automatic logging
Automatic logging is on by default — so there's nothing you need to do. Your trips are recorded all on their own, as long as your CO-DRIVER is connected to the app. If you'd rather your trips weren't logged automatically, you can switch off "Log my trips automatically" at the top of the Mileage Book at any time.
While driving, you'll see the status on the map: "Logging trip" when a trip is being recorded.
One more thing: the orange dot in the top-right corner of a trip means that trip hasn't been reviewed or adjusted by you yet. Once you've checked it, the dot disappears.
Add a trip manually
Missed a trip, or prefer to add one yourself? On the Mileage Book screen, tap "Add trip".
Then enter your start and end location, and set the date and time. You can search for an address and save it as a location. Label the trip as Private, Commute, or Business — this keeps your business trips clearly separated from your personal ones when it's time to export. When you're done, tap "Find routes".
Edit your trip
Need to make changes to a trip? No problem. Once you tap the specific trip you want to edit, you'll get an overview of your starting point (Point A), your end point (Point B), the distance and time driven, and the label.
Tapping on either the starting or end point takes you to a map view, where you can drop a pin to change the start or end location. After placing a pin, the app automatically shows you route suggestions — select the one that matches your driven route closest and tap "Confirm trip".
Delete a trip
Don't need a trip? Open it and tap Delete, then confirm. You can also delete a trip straight from the overview by swiping it left. Deleting is permanent, so make sure you no longer need the trip before removing it.
Export your report
When you're ready to submit your trips, tap "Export" at the top of the Mileage Book. Choose a period, pick which categories to include (Private, Commute, Business), and the report is sent to your email as a PDF — ready to pass on to your employer.
Private trips only show the distance in the report — not the addresses — to protect your privacy.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. The Mileage Book works with your existing CO-DRIVER (CO-DRIVER NO1 or CO-DRIVER NO2), which helps detect when your trips start and end. If you don't yet have a CO-DRIVER, you can get one from the OOONO website or any authorized retailer.
Open a trip and choose Private, Commute, or Business at the bottom of the screen. You can change the category later if you need to.
You can export your trips as a PDF report. Choose your period and categories, and the report is sent to your email — ready to forward to your employer.
The Mileage Book is currently available only for German users. The feature itself works anywhere, though — so your trips are still logged when you drive abroad, for example from Germany to the Netherlands and back.
You can currently pay by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.
Yes. You can switch between the monthly and annual plans at any time. Note that switching does not include a refund for the current billing period.
To manage your plan:
1. Open the OOONO app.
2. Tap the "=" icon in the top right.
3. Tap the orange bubble with your initials at the top.
4. Tap "Subscriptions."
Here you can view your current plan and renewal date, and change your subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time in your OOONO profile. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
To cancel:
1. Open the OOONO app.
2. Tap the "=" icon in the top right.
3. Tap the orange bubble with your initials at the top.
4. Tap "Subscriptions."
Here you can view your current plan and renewal date, and cancel your subscription.
After you cancel, you keep full access until the end of your current subscription period. Once it expires, you can still view and export your trips in the app — but editing trips is no longer possible.
The monthly plan renews automatically for one month at a time. The annual plan does not auto-renew for another full year — after twelve months it switches to monthly billing.
If you delete your OOONO account while a subscription is active, your account and all associated personal data are deleted in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. Once deletion is complete, the account cannot be restored, and all associated data — including subscription access and history, preferences, and usage data — is permanently removed.
Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees for the remaining billing period(s). If you have an active annual subscription, we recommend cancelling it before deleting your account. To use the app again afterwards, you'll need to create a new account and, if you wish, purchase a new subscription.
Subscription payments are processed by an authorized payment service provider using the payment methods available in the app (credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal). The first payment is taken when you activate your subscription, and each following payment at the start of the new billing period. All prices include VAT. OOONO is not responsible for any currency conversion fees or extra charges applied by your bank or payment provider.
If a payment can't be collected from your chosen payment method, you'll be notified and given 7 days to re-authorize it. If payment still isn't successful within that time, your subscription is cancelled and access to all paid in-app features ends immediately once the 7-day period expires.
